Pre-Season
Snow may have fallen on Prospect Park yesterday, but it won't be winter forever. Spring is nearly here, and so is our draft. I would like to thank Jick Lung and Daiv Ransom for partnering with the PPBL this season, and giving us a one-stop home for all of our media activities this season. Our contract with the Prospect Herald is mutually beneficial and will see the return of occasional video and radio content.
My interest in the Herald is now 51% and as of yesterday, all staff except for Jick, Daiv, and Tom Sklip have been let go in order to streamline our paper's efficiency. No severance was paid out, which means we have more surplus cash to do great things in the league this year.
And on the subject of cash, we are introducing an all new revenue sharing program, one which excites me very much. All $15 buy-ins will go into the stock or ETF of the league's choice, and all gains accrued beyond the $150 deposit will be disbursed to every team that makes the playoffs.
Hear that folks? Even if you don't win, you might make back thirty cents this September.
Reminder that our draft is this Monday, March 16th at 7:30pm, and the deadline to lock keepers is Sunday, March 15th at 8pm.
